Documentary: I Am Greta

This was actually better than I expected. I found it an honest documentary.

It became clear to me that the only 'normal' person in this whole documentary was Greta. The father tried to help Greta as good as he can, but with a lot of frustration from his side. This was also confronting for me, because of me being an autistic parent with an autistic kid.

The most 'abnormal' people were the politicians, the media and also the protesters. Protesters who glorify Greta far to much. Greta finds this all overwhelming and unnecessary, but she still continues because it helps the climate cause. She keeps focusing on her coal and that deserves respect.

It is also a coming-of-age documentary. From her sitting for the first time in front of the Swedish parlementary until she arrives with the sailing boat in NYC.

@jeroenpraat Ah... autistic? That actually kind of... explains why she's so focused on this.

Sounds like this documentary might be an interesting watch for me too. Where'd you watch it if I may ask?

Documentary: I Am Greta

@trinsec @jeroenpraat Not just autism, MK Autism

@dowodenum Could you explain what 'MK Autism' is? Searching around for it doesn't yield me a clear result, except the location Milton Keynes but I kinda doubt that is it.

@dowodenum I'm only getting more confused at this point. MK Ultra is a CIA mind control program according to Wikipedia. Did you specifically mean that, or was it merely a pun in general? (And I do agree it is a bad pun :P )
