@abloo What character limit? The Mastodon instance I'm on allows for 65535 characters, I've never hit it. :)
(It's customizable per instance)

@trinsec Mastodon has a 500 character limit. I hear it's really difficult to change it because you need to edit the source code

@abloo @trinsec afaik glitch-soc (mastodon fork) allows to configure the character limit
