I didn't recognize the alleged neighbor asking to borrow some sugar.
His robe and pointy hat would've worried me, if not for the vivid midnight blue, with gold stars glowing faintly. The tiny owl on his shoulder looked surprisingly real.
I'd never seen a cosplayer up close.
"Will stevia powder work?"
He pinched the bridge of his nose and nodded tiredly, accepting it then vanished in a puff of smoke.
Probably not a cosplayer then.
