Interesting how Capitalism researched all the concepts about work and how people are more productive with less work hours and if they can work self-responsible and creative and join valuable goals yet they fail to draw the consequences
so they basically confirmed that cooperative worker owned factories with friendly athmosphere would be the best.
:)
(Not minding the studies showing that less work hours increase productivity, now you need to be at work for 40hrs+ each week for more productivity)
@Wenin It's why part-time jobs are extremely popular here. It's not like you're working badly that way. You might even have more energy to work efficiently!
@trinsec They are still seen as weird over here, mostly for parents or similar folks, otherwise it is full time... and even with full time some folks don't have enough money to go by x)
@Wenin Remind me again where your 'here' is? I've forgotten your country. :) Middle Europe?
@trinsec Germany :)
@Wenin Ah for some reason I was thinking Austria. Might be some other P.me user who hailed from there.
Hi neighbour!
Yeah, fulltime jobs are still aplenty here, but it's not weird to have parttime either.
@Wenin Oh yeah, that'd be so interesting. People who are on welfare support and would get shafted if they tried to work because they're living off subsidies atm... so they're not incentived to work in the first place... they could actually try to undertake things if they know that it's just an 'additional' to their existing basic income and that they'd not get screwed over for actually trying to work. :P
@Wenin I think most people here already realize that. ;) It's considered very important to have fun at your job.
@trinsec :O *FUN*?
At the job?? Wow. Not here! Not around here! :D Just working down your 40 hrs a week.^^
@Wenin A happy worker is a good worker after all!
@trinsec but people could realise that 9-to-5 is a scam and the endless mantra of "endless growth" is a lie 🤔
