Today might be the day I stop using a desktop PC altogether.
The catalyst was a new set of bookshelf speakers. Their wire length / orientation forces me to rearrange the PC position, and thus pretty much my entire desk.
Screw it, right?
For gaming I have an Xbox Series X and a Steam Deck.
For working, I have an M1 Mac and a nice ThinkPad that I can dock with my periphals and monitors.
I'm just sick of all the heat, the energy consumption and the hassle!
@killyourfm I dunno, my gaming laptop can be pretty damn hot too!
@trinsec bottom line though: less power in, less waste heat out.

@killyourfm Yes, but that counts for a desktop PC as well. :D You have got lowprofile ones taking very little power. Definitely less than my gaming laptop, lol. :D
