It's the usual case for most of those how-tos. They describe in detail how well organized and self-disciplined they are, leaving out one small and critically important thing.
Wife taking most of the house labor on her back, rich parents helping with money and/or job, etc.
Which in no way downplays the importance of self-organization. It's just that pretty often personal success is pre-conditioned on many factors other than individual effort.
Not many "successful" folks realize this, unfortunately, and that's why it's so fun to mock them.
