What do people think of Battle Royale? #Movie #Critique

And by extension there's the Hunger Games and a similar scenario in the #TV show Supernatural.

BR is an alright movie but there's something missing for me. It doesn't end in a particularly meaningful way.

In fact, the version I watched recently was the special version. I have a vague memory of the original version ending with some cryptic nonsensical BS. But maybe I'm remembering that wrong. The ending of this one was OK.

@lydiaconwell The Japanese version? I found it a funny popcorn movie. I never expected to see such bloodshed and gore when I first watched it, just didn't know what kind of movie it was. :D
