Anyone think that this would ever be a competitor to #Mastodon or just a nice twitter alternative ? Curious to see if this would have an negative impact on the member count of instances 
even if it does im staying here 
@STORM I only have twitter for some people I know.. though whatever they tweet isn't THAT interesting. And for some public stuff from my country because they can be pushed into helping out easier if you call them out in public like Twitter.
Though I hope they eventually find their way to the Fediverse, then even less reason to have a Twitter account.
@trinsec true thankfully i have no friends who use twitter and have no reason to truly stay. For accounts that arent on mastodon that i used to follow i just have a nitter feed that i use. But im stuck on whatsapp since my gf won't switch over ....
@trinsec True, I've settled and won't be moving. I never really used twitter besides to consume memes & privacy/info sec content. But now im actually using mastodon because it has a way better friendlier and comfy feeling than twitter. It feels calm and unobtrusive
