@tho@c.im Flemish is Dutch that's spoken in Belgium.

I believe that's the basic gist of it.

I think Dutchies would be tempted to say that Flemish is a dialect... but it is simply Dutch that's spoken in Flanders.. and because it's a different region, different culture, the kind of Dutch differs too.

Just like Austria and Germany both speak German... but yet they differ from each other as well.
