@imasdemase I see, you are making a bot. Keep in mind that bots are bound to rules.
The bot needs to post unlisted and needs to be marked as a bot in the profile.
If you want to test a lot, do it unlisted as to not spam the feed.
@trinsec So the proper way for a bot which posts once a day should be:
- Marked as bot in the profile.
- Set as unlisted (or it is only in case it posts very frequent toots?

That is correct.
The only exception to unlisted is if the bot "looks" like it is a real person. That is, they respond to comments and are otherwise active in the community.
If it is just an informational bot that provides no responses, then it must be unlisted.
