A thought for mastodon app-makers: replace the boost button 🔄 by 👍🏼, so the noobs from the bird site know what boosting is for.

@StroomAfwaarts There's one tiny difference...
On Twitter you get spammed to death with:
- Retweets (either quoted or not).
- Your buddy liked X's post.
- Your buddy responded to some X's post.
And if you're lucky you might actually be able to catch an original tweet from your buddy among all the likes, retweets, and responses to god-knows-who.

You also get spam with:
- Your buddy is now following X and you get to see X's tweets that way while _you_ are not following X... That adds up...
@StroomAfwaarts So all those Twitter users need to do over there is doing a like or a follow, and their buddies get infatuated with all that spam that they never asked for.

So bird site migrants don't even try to share stuff on here.
And they wonder why there's so little going on...
