#Mastodon should include text formatting like 𝘐𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘴 and 𝗕𝗼𝗹𝗱 as standard.
There should be little buttons on this typey window thing that you write your toots into.

@lydiaconwell There are servers supporting markdown (like the one I'm on) so you can have all that.
It's just that Eugen doesn't want it and even strips off markdown characters in vanilla Mastodon...
