I didn't get far in the snorefest that is #LordOfTheRings but I did like Tom Bombadil because he was weird and could touch the ring and be like, yeah, so what? And he was like older than everything else or something.
I suppose he's a bit like Q from #NextGeneration . He kinda doesn't care about normal people's piddly-ass problems like an evil warlord dominating Middle Earth.

@lydiaconwell I found the Tom Bombadil part sort of amusing too. Where I found it a real snorefest, and where I also stopped at, were those horse people. Even in the movies I loathed them.
