Starting to... oh gods that's pretty stormy. That tree is almost horizontal.

Saw a few big branches break off and end up in my neighbour's garden. I think he's got a bigger sweep job to do than me tomorrow.

My other neighbour's garden had a very big branch fallen on top of the trampoline there. As if the branches aren't bouncy enough today!

When you think 'where are all those little birds hiding in this severe weather?' the answer is likely 'under dense low foliage'.

When it started raining again, I saw quite a lot of little great titties hopping from underneath the shrubbery in front of my house, probably searching for worms. They're fine. And cute. :blobcatlove:

You know the phrase that the grass is greener at the other side? Ok, maybe not grass here, but my neighbours at either side of my house certainly have a lot more branches to deal with than I do.

It isn't really that windy anymore so I walked a small round around my neighbourhood to check up on damages. Didn't see toppled trees or damaged roofs or missing solar panels which is a good thing. The street was full of leaves and twigs but otherwise still accessible. But the walkway behind our gardens was littered with huge branches. Exactly at the spots of the garden entrances of both neighbours. 🤣

I'm lucky my garden is basically between those 2 huge trees in the park behind our gardens. 😅 I've got only some small sweeping job to do.

Just swept the garden. The only traces left of the storm are various stray leaves between my plants. Whenever it's gorgeous gardening weather I'll bother cleaning those up as well.
