I wonder if anyone reflected about the pros/cons of joining a fediverse instance (including using your own) and the linkage to online identity? For example, if you're a physicist, employed by a University, participating in several external organizations (related or not your physics), which fediverse(s) should you have an account on? #fediverse #musing
@tripu For identity, yes. If your identity were simply a function of your social network graph, then it wouldn't matter. But that does not work so far for twitter.
