Please understand that sometimes I would like to register my disagreement with a broadly publicized claim without writing a 2000 word rebuttal.
I often find myself in this position when I have already debunked similar claims several times, or have repeatedly responded to reckless nonsense from the same individual.
If this bothers you, I would suggest you will find more joy by muting me here and sticking to the formal scientific literature than you will by trying to tone-police my posts.
