- Arrest the rioters: OK
- Arrest the looters: OK
- Arrest the people standing on the sidewalk holding signs:
@alex Disagree on arresting rioters, unless they get violent, but there is no lie Portland and Philadelphia protests are enough violent.

Where I live, most protests were quite peacefully thankfully with no confrontation, except few cases as always.
@valleyforge @alex Oh you are right! Thanks for correction.Got confused with "protester".

Common definition: "A violent disturbance of the public peace by three or more persons assembled for a common purpose."

@waltercool @alex I think the problem comes from how to handle the people who themselves are not violent but are there specifically to give cover to the people who are violent

@valleyforge @alex Well, at Europe that's solved, but indeed this is a common problem at Americas, as all constitutions are based on individualism (by principle this is a complex matter to us).

At Europe (Germany/Austria at least) is known any violent manifestation is considered illegal, and even peaceful people who join them are considered part of the riot under illegal association.
