Good morning! Can I bother you: Have you ever used a dpm spring? I got one for the q5, but when I put it in, I can barely rack it and am worried it won't chamber the cartridge correctly. Should I be worried? It does cock when I dry fire but the slide doesn't go all the way back

@su I haven't. Do you have some dummy rounds or snap caps you can test it with? Whenever I'm unsure of what to expect of a spring I test with those.

@leyonhjelm I do not. I mean it cocks ok, the trigger goes "click" but I wonder if it'll strip the bullets out of the magazine ok, it's so stiff. Well I'll try today. Thanks! Sorry for all my questions lol

@su If this weren't the internet I'd throw a couple of dummy rounds together for you. Just press a few bullets into processed brass and you could rack your slide all you want without the danger of it going off.

I appreciate that. I think I'd better not fool with this spring, I'm not experienced enough, afraid of blowing myself up!
