When people say the #January6th tresspasers didn't have guns, nobody knew that. And aren't we told that cops in public must treat any attack on them as a play for their weapon? Once there was conflict, we had no idea who was armed. The zip ties came from inside the building.

we know what there is video of and what people are willing to testify under oath to (but most people will still choose to go with their political tribe's perspective over any of that).

I'm not big on calling it an insurrection or whatever, but so many arguments on all sides of this are weak to me. it was fucked up, security never should have let it get this far, many wanted to do more than "protest" etc...
