The main point of this long review is this: "So you get all the bulk of a true rifle, with almost none of its advantages."

I think it's a valid summary... yet I own a Ruger PCC. It's not as loud as AR, let alone a shorty AR. It's basically the best you can get without a can.

@gat also you can shoot it in uspsa which you cant with a 223

@valleyforge Oddly enough IDPA allows braced pistols into the PCC division, so people go for things like Stribogs for reduced weight. Can't wait to see a Flux Raider :-)
