Tim Pool is pushing minds but anyone here should know that they are really just another closed platform pretending to care about decentralization and freedom of expression. I can't believe he doesn't have a financial relationship with them. He should be on the fedi and promoting it. Call him out now, especially if you've ever supported him or spread his stuff. @wjmaggos I can't scrub through the podcast to find where they're talking about it but they do mention investing in fedi development stuff. Especially Ian. Whether they've actually done anything to that affect is another matter
it kills me that the people with big followings (and also usually a decent amount of money) complaining about big social aren't running servers and promoting it. And contributing to development. Not to mention freedom oriented and anti corporate journalism outlets and political organizations.
Then schools and workplaces.
