People engage with Twitter as it directly provides them entertainment, whether that's talking to others, or viewing media, or whatever.
I really don't think many people enjoy Bitcoin for the sake of its own entertainment.
Some, sure, but not that many.

Maybe "entertainment" in the same sense that a slot machine "provides value"?
Honestly, the fediverse could prove to be the same, but at least people aren't economically motivated to make us full-addicted to the infinite scroll.
