Wow, I don't know where you're from, but this post comes across as an American with an inflated sense of the importance of the US in the general scheme of things.
The US is not the center of the solar system. There are things that happen that don't actually center on US politics.
You misunderstand.
I'm happy to see posts about US politics.
I just don't think Brazil is US politics, or that US politicians have anything relevant to contribute to Brazilian events, or that it's letting them hide to not press them on these topics that are none of their business in the first place.
@volkris I think you misunderstand the multiple high level connections between American coup plotters and Brazilian coup plotters.
Even without these connections, the reactions of domestic politicians to the latest attempt to overthrow *any* democracy by force are very relevant to American, Canadian and German politics in particular, in addition to any other country with newly emboldened fascist movements.
@volkris You should mute the hash tag if you don’t want to see posts about US politics, regardless of where in the world they come from.
