Say what you want about big social and about large instances but users do not have to constantly deal with an instance shutting down. I’m not blaming anyone as life happens but that’s not something users should have to experience. Something to be considered when puffing out chests in regards to the #fediverse and how much better it is than big social

I'm eternally critical of #ActivityPub being centralized around instances instead of decentralized down to focus on users.
It didn't have to be this way, but this was the choice made by the developers.
And it might be one of the major ways that #Bluesky chooses a better path.
