Just out of curiosity, is the web client really so lacking on tablets?
It seems like these days web technology is so well developed that maybe we don't need a lot of these apps in the first place, especially with the lock-in they can bring.
@volkris @downey - as an app developer I'm actually thinking the same thing (in general, not just in this instance).
Can a progressive web app satisfy a large enough percentage of scenarios to make app development (and all that entails) .... not necessarily redundant but maybe just less necessary? #unpopularopinion #justasking
