Dude, your specific example refuted the discussion, showing that it was off base!

@futurebird @cadenza

@volkris @InkySchwartz @futurebird no, it didn’t. You are willfully blind and deaf. My grandfather spent the latter part of his life looking for BIPOC talent to groom for office in the Colorado Republican Party. He thought it was wrong that towns that were half-Latino should have all-white governments. And he got many people of color, primarily Latino and indigenous, into office. 25 years after his death, my grandfather’s legacy has been entirely erased. The Republican Party he tried to build has become an all-white nest of idiots, bigots, and bigoted idiots. And they are saying the quiet part out loud which you are willfully deaf to. We Jews and BIPOC have seen this play before, and it doesn’t end well. The Colorado Republican Party is now broke. Good. May they disappear into the hell-portal from which they sprang.

@volkris @InkySchwartz @futurebird @cadenza I don't think you know what "refuted" means. Because that's not what you did.

Also, you may want to consider whether or not you want to be the defender of the people saying blacks benefited from slavery. They don't have interesting points. We don't need to pay attention to the nuances of their arguments to be careful not to mischaracterize them. They are garbage people with garbage opinions and it's fine to say so.
