Remember when the end of Mastodon was upon us because #Threads was coming to the Fediverse?
@SebastienK #Threads won't kill #Mastodon but will definetly distract the big names needed to push the #fediverse to the mainstream

I think you have that backwards since Threads would be part of Fediverse becoming more mainstream.
Threads would give a lot more people involvement in Fediverse.
@volkris @SebastienK _IF_ #Threads actually joins the #Fediverse but I doubt it's very high priority for them - #Tumblr still hasn't joined and I'm pretty sure they would get more ROI than Threads would. Threads hasn't invented #Hashtags yet so I'm not holding my breath on them delivering the #Fediverse to the masses.
