@TildeGartenzaun I don't think they are having to sweat between two options. Most people don't understand how problematic it is for big corporations to have all our data. They don't know it's a big deal, so they simply go where they are catered to and are familiar with the most.
@usernamepending It's sad, but true. But especially with Bluesky vs. Mastodon I don't get it, since Bluesky is still lacking a lot of features.
@TildeGartenzaun Isn't Bluesky also open source and decentralized? I think it's okay for it to remain as an option to Mastodon.
