@ecpoir This court decision is extremely important in this context. It further damages him. The war will wind down far enough that he can be dealt with. I believe I heard there was a significant troop withdrawal from Gaza yesterday or today.
I don't think the decision is as important as you think as it's so clearly self-serving.
It begs the question.
Anyone in favor of maintaining the court's power will support the court's ruling to maintain its own power while anyone opposed will point to it as exactly the reason they're opposing it.
It doesn't move the ball.
@volkris @ecpoir It moves the ball because it adds new layers and complications to enacting those fascist measures, and given the mishandling of the war and hostages by Bibi, such layers are important. MANY decisions by high courts in various countries could be called self-serving, but that doesn't mean those decisions necessarily don't have positive effects.
