Someone on Twitter posed this hypothetical about the Berkeley Incident:: "If that same episode happened on private property in Texas, a Castle Doctrine jurisdiction, it might have triggered an interesting interplay between the First and the Second Amendments."

I wonder (and worry) how many law professors would argue in this hypothetical that, not only would the homeowner Dean and Professor's using a gun be ONE LEGALLY CORRECT option, but the PROPER response (as opposed to deescalation).
