The #UnitedStates #SupremeCourt is turning into a dictatorial #oligarchy of judges. As long as government is divided & gridlocked, which it is & has been for a long time, #SCOTUS wields unchecked power to dictate rights away & allow lawless politicians to evade #accountability.
If #Republicans do away with our #democracy, then the Supreme Court will make it legal.
The court's #corruption scandals, numerous & flagrant, show an institution that is controlled by a cabal of #fascists.

SCOTUS has only the power to issue opinions. It has no power to dictate, or enforce, or control the police, or write legislation. Those are different branches of government.
SCOTUS won't make doing away with democracy legal because it literally can't do that even if it wanted to.
Whoever is telling you this stuff is relying on not knowing what the different branches of government do.

We've already seen this court flagrantly and intentionally delay criminal hearings to protect their favored politician.
This is the kind of court that would retroactively make a coup legal after the fact. All they need is a case that involves the coup and then they can make a ruling to validate it.
