One of the weird things about NYC, that I did not know before I moved there (I guess I probably should have understood this), is that celebrities will often go to their own movies.

So this one time I went to the premiere of the movie Star Trek and sitting right in front of me (legit 1 foot in front of me) was that dude Zachary Quinto, who played Spock. I had no idea until the movie was over and the lights came up.

I was just like, oh, okay. I had absolutely no clue at all.

Also in NYC, everyone sits through the credits because all of their friends are like boom mic operators or whatever. It’s sort of interesting.
