There were “AUDIBLE GASPS” in the room when House #Republicans heard about Matt #Gaetz being #Trump’s AG pick. So here is my message to #Republicans who are surprised by this pick.
Why are you surprised? In every choice he faced between “doing the ethical thing that hurts him” and “doing the unethical thing that benefits him”, he has chosen the unethical course EVERY SINGLE TIME. That is what your base LOVES about him, that’s what YOU campaigned and voted for!
