I deleted my X and Facebook accounts earlier this month, I'm considering deleting my Amazon account very soon too. I don't want to give any power to fascists. I'm not saying quitting their platforms is sufficient, I'm not saying it's enough, I'm saying it's a mandatory first step.
And I'm glad I don't have a Proton account, because I've heard their CEO uses neonazi dogwhistles.

@KekunPlazas but you're giving up power to fascists. You are declining to take value from their efforts, letting them off the hook for serving you.
With you off their platforms, that's one fewer non-fascist they have to worry about, one fewer good person influencing the way the platform is running.
You're leaving the fascists free to run wild.
