President #Trump has fired members of the National Labor Relation Board and the Merit Systems Review Board in violation of federal #Law. But earlier this month in Wilcox v. Trump, #SCOTUS stayed lower court orders requiring their reinstatement, notwithstanding its 90 year precedent, Humphrey’s Executor v. U.S., holding that such firings are illegal. It's pretty expected.
I hear people getting caught off guard by this sort of thing, and it really comes down to their not being familiar with these issues.
