Every American that pays taxes should be aware that this is the #Republicans destroying #SocialSecurity and retirement.
The safety net we've paid into all our lives.
It's really quite simple. Wealthy people don't qualify for SSI so it's a primary target for Republicans.
Couples:
If your income is solely from wages, your monthly countable income must be less than $2,915.
If your income is not from wages, your monthly countable income must be less than $1,435.
What? That's not how SSI works.
YES wealthy people qualify for SSI, and mainstream Republicans are calling for increasing taxes on the wealthy due to their participation in the program.

I don't know who told you this is how the law works, but somebody told you wrong. And I don't know why you would believe them because it's pretty nutty.

I literally posted the income limits. Wealthy people don't have income limits.
