On Saturday, law enforcement officers used #FlashBang #grenades, #TearGas & #RubberBullets as they clashed with #protesters who came to the area in Paramount, which had been rumored to be the site of an #immigration operation.
There were hundreds of protesters when the #demonstrations peaked during the day, but their numbers dwindled in the evening. Several dozen were still protesting at 6PM.

During a campaign rally in 2023, Trump made clear he was not going to hold back in a 2nd term. “You’re supposed to not be involved in that, you just have to be asked by the governor or the mayor to come in—the next time, I’m not waiting,” he said.

The admin sent in extensive resources, including federal agents from across the government to fend off protesters who surrounded the building for weeks.
