What do you think of an option to ban politics from the feed on account registration like this:
Effectively, when you click “no politics”, it should block the !news@lemmy.world, !politics@lemmy.world, !politicalmemes@lemmy.world, !pravda_news@news.abolish.capital communities and such.
It would help clear up the feed and be more attractive to new users. Maybe this could even be the default view when you’re not logged in.

Set the norms that people categorize their own posts using hashtags and other people opt in or out based on the same tags.
