I don't know about you but I'm getting pretty sceptical of the commentariat's attempts to 'sane-wash' the Tangerine Tyrant's (so-called) policy pronouncements.... might it just not be easier to generalise & say he's an unpredictable, power-crazed, economic naif whose only interests are self-aggrandisement & self-enrichment.... there is *no* sane public-facing aspect to the rule of his Court!

The only commentary I see trying to sane-wash Trump's babbling are those speaking from inside the GOP echo chamber, and they're getting fewer and fewer as time goes by and his positions become harder to justify.
