Most Americans would be fine with killing lots of foreigners if it lowered gas prices, reduced inflation and helped the stock market. It's the same thinking that accepts layoffs from mergers and outsourcing cause stuff gets cheaper.
It's all fine till it's your job or kids getting killed.
Blaming billionaires is fine and good but we also must collectively reconsider how #capitalism works.
I think it's just an ever growing population of ppl who are fine with destroying you and taking your stuff under any circumstances they can get away with.
It's a moral and spiritual failure.
A lot of ppl are so disturbed by this they're in denial. They're also materialistic and on the siding scale in this trajectory.
So these kinds of explanations are soothing.

It's a population of people that have been misled and misinformed. They have come to believe a bunch of falsehoods.
The moral and spiritual aspects are built on top of factual beliefs. If the factual beliefs are wrong, well then moral and spiritual can't really save the day.
