Keep in mind that this administration follows the orders of Fox News type commentators. They'll say things and then a couple days later the administration will echo what they said.
So Trump decided to start the war because Fox News commentators said it would be pretty awesome in their hyperpatriotic us versus them, good guy versus bad guy, let's have footage of fighter jets mentality.
