This may be one of those cases where the right legal result protects unsavory people. In the long run, and especially in the current political environment, I can see this actually being a useful bulwark against efforts to restrict gender-affirming care.

Under this ruling states can't censor anyone ranging from an activist to a medical provider that wants to support or promote gender-affirming care.
