I really don't understand folks who don't want to learn. That is one of my favorite things about webdev.

@icedquinn oh. You are reading the conclusion in the opposite way that I did. the OP was saying, "no hire."
@icedquinn true. But an acceptable answer would have been, "I consider that part of my job, so I spend an hour or two each day on that. I also enjoy it." At least, that's my case :)
@newt @icedquinn I guess the next question is what you count as work. The contention is that learning should be part of it.
