I just want the same old exwm I've had for 3+ years, on top of a sweet GUIX setup. Why is this so hard? Gnome, is it your fault?

@icedquinn not that I know of. Plus, in anycase, it doesn't like to share like, apparently, my kde used to
@worldsendless i remember this being a thing because some people were like "why does random shit not work in gnome anymore" and its because by default gnome runs a wayland compositor nowadays and you have to go out of your way to run gnomestuff on X again.
