@AnnaGHughes I tried Common LISP many years ago. It felt a bit clunky but I could see the potential. Then Clojure came along and it’s pretty amazing. The main downside has been that it’s built on top of the Java VM which isn’t suitable for everything, but there are now other targets too.
@worldsendless honestly I am missing a bit stronger ecosystem around #clojure . I want to see some #gamedev so I can do my free time coding in the same language as my #webdev work
@worldsendless #haxe has most of the ecosystem there. #rust, #csharp, and of course #cpp. In no particular order. I know about http://arcadia-unity.github.io and https://github.com/oakes/play-cljc for #clojure but there are limitations to those choices.
