TIL that html may have `name=myplace` instead of `id=` and it still works as a link to that DOM object `example.com/example#myplace`. Is this a Firefox thing, or some part of a spec that I should read?
@worldsendless Yea, it was part of an older standard: https://www.w3.org/TR/html401/struct/links.html
idk if it works on other browsers and/or whether it works on anything else but anchors.
