@dsfgs I get confused as the two are constantly interchanged and spell checks seems to suggest using an s is wrong
@zleap
It may be that the spellchecker needs to be configured, if you are using Linux and in GB. As an example look into hunspell, maybe. If you feel the need.
We're fairly certain GB and AU are same on this.
In reality we prefer the US spelling but its best to abide by conventions of your own country.
@dsfgs I am sure on an Episode of Inspector Morse. Morse points out that words are ize according to the Oxford English Dictionary
He asked lews to ask one of the other characters to write something with lots o words ending in ize
I will will check I have a dictionary application here

Great Britain / Australian English fediFlyers ('decentralised' with an 's')
@zleap
Do you know an alternate website that can be used in this flyer?
Please DM or reply.
During the week we received a complaint that #fediverseDotParty is not secure, when accessed without typing 'https://'. If you know of other sites that help people find suitable #Pleroma instances, please tell us.
Thanks.
@icedquinn,

@icedquinn
The concern was MITM, its a real shame because the site itself is great.

Ah you created a new toot thread. Adding other text for reference:

@humanetech @zleap @nestort @lain @lightone @dsfgs Indeed, when I go to "http://fediverse.party/" with the EFF's HTTPS Everywhere plugin disabled, it redirects to https as it should. And it does the same when cURL is used (without -L site give "301 Moved Permanently"), so even if someone refuses redirects, there is no compromise.
@aktivismoEstasMiaLuo
Sorry we should have mentioned here also that this issue has been resolved by the developer/maintainer of the site and we are very thankful to them for fixing this.
Having said that, its healthy to use alternate websites occasionally so if you know a website(s) that can help people find good Pleroma instances, that don't use #CAGFAM, feel free to use it. The flyer's svg source file is available for this and other purposes.
@zleap
Thanks for sharing, Paul. The more, the better.
The above FediFlyer files are in Paul's repo here:
