I started at secondary school in 1986, at that time we were getting rid of corporal punishment and telling kids they had rights, the latter meant that the kids could rule the classroom, fearless of anything, assault teachers and threaten them if they tried to control the class.

Thing is rights come with responsibility, NO should mean just that, some how we have lost our way and some children, backed by parents seem to think they can't be touched.
