Something odd happened yesterday with Debian 10.10 and Xfce.

This was running fine. I installed Texlive, Tex Studio and Jab ref

Somewhere within that process
xfce4-panel was removed as a package. As a result netierh the top panel and my bottom panel for launching applications worked.

Nextcloud client complained as it needs the panel area to work.

Not sure what happened, eventually re-installed just the xfce4-panel as package

Just seems a rather odd and ramdom thing to happen, clearly there is something within a pacakge somewhere that is telling apt to remove xfce4-panel.
