They had a case here a few years back where 40+ got roasted in a truck. In the Texas summer, if you don't have constant air conditioning, enclosed spaces are death traps.

The problem is that the coyotes get paid $10k+ per immigrant to bring them over, and so there's no shortage of coyotes.

It's like the war on drugs.

I am agnostic on equality, not being a Leftist. This means that I await proof that it exists, is necessary, has benefits, etc.

However, the term we might want here is "differently situated"... meaning that immigrants have little, where our legal system will protect someone who brought them over.

Yes, they arrested him and charged him with something or another, at which point he fled over the border (if memory serves).

It's the problem: you cannot really have justice when you have a foreign population that escapes your judicial system!

2. No EMTALA health care
3. No section 8 housing

In my view, it's always going to happen.

There's people here with enough to survive but no real wealth, and right across the border is piles of money being handed out by credulous morons brain-locked by democracy.

People are going to cross unless the cost of crossing is massively raised.
